Friday November 6, 2015 - It appears all is well for Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko after
appealing to elders from the Luhya nation to find him a beautiful woman to
marry as a second wife.
The elders from the Luhya community have
informed him that they had found a potential bride from Moses Wetangula’s County
for him to marry.
The philanthropic Sonko shared the good
news with his fans and Kenyans on social media, where he could not hide his
joy.
“I received
very good news from the Luhyia Council of Elders this morning. They have
informed me of a potential bride in Bungoma,” Sonko said.
Sonko had told a congregation in
Nairobi’s Kangemi area that he was in talks with elders from the Luhyia
community to find him a wife.
He said he wants to marry a Luhyia
wife and have children in quick succession to continue with his services to the
electorate.
“Nitaendelea kupendana na Waluhya na
nitaongea na wazee Waluhya wale wako hapa mnitafutie bibi mmoja mluhya nioe,
ndio tuweze kupata watoto haraka haraka ndio mimi niwakilishe interest ya
Waluhya kwa serikali (I will continue to love Luhyas and I will consult
with Luhya elders here to find a Luhya wife for me. We want to have many
children as quickly as possible so that I can represent the interests of the
Luhya in Government),” Sonko told a congregation in Kangemi last
week.
